Zagreus, Blush 2023

The team at Zagreus have been producing authentic Bulgarian wines since 1998. Grown on some of the country's best soil in the Lower Thracian Valley, known for it's cinnamon-red colour, they are now fully certified as organic and make some of the country's best wines. Blush 2023 is made from 100% Mavrud and makes for such a stunning rosé stacked with flavour. The grapes were hand-harvested and left on skins for 4 hours to extract just the right amount of colour, flavour and texture. A nose of fresh strawberry, raspberry and grapefruit moves to a medium bodied palate with flavours of nectarine, cranberry and a nice citrussy acidity to carry the finish.
